Who can participate

• girls and boys, 13 years and older
• no prior knowledge required

What we do

Each participant learns important basic skills for game development:

• how to configure and use a computer for development work
• how to effectively collaborate with others remotely using GitHub and other services
• basics of the code editor Visual Studio Code
• first steps with the Unity game engine

How we do it

• video conferences with screen sharing
• communication in English (and German or French as required)
• 10 participants max
• before starting the course, we agree on one or two timeslots that work for everyone

Requirements

• computer with Windows 11 or MacOS 12+ and at least 15 GB of storage and 8 GB of memory
• internet connection with at least 1 Mbps, adequate for video conferencing
• webcam and headset
• permission to install programs
